Discount codes are used to reduce the fare of applicable new ticket purchases and redeemed at m.alaskaair.com, alaskaair.com®, and EasyBiz®. Discount codes may be included in your Insider Newsletter, Mileage Plan™ correspondence, direct mail, local newspaper advertisements, or via other promotional partners.
Note: Certificates and gift cards are different from discount codes. Please book on our full site and enter these types of codes on the billing page as a form of payment.
Using a discount code
To redeem a discount code, type the code in the box marked Discount code on the same page you enter your travel cities and dates.
General rules
- Only one discount code may be applied per reservation.
- Discount codes may be used in conjunction with gift cards, certificates or wallet redemptions.
- Discount codes can only be redeemed for airfare purchases at alaskaair.com and EasyBiz for electronic tickets with a maximum of eight segments.
- Discount codes cannot be applied to Mileage Plan award reservations.
- Discount codes are not the same as Alaska Airlines vacations promo codes. Alaska Airlines vacations promo codes cannot be used as discount codes, and vice versa.
- Discount code reductions may not apply to all flights; itineraries consist of point-to-point and through fares which are used to construct total price.
- Discount codes apply to original purchases only, and cannot be applied towards ticket exchanges.

Discount: Buy one coach class ticket at the regular price and get a second ticket for just the taxes and fees. Taxes and fees vary by destination and start at $32.20 per passenger. Offer is valid on Alaska Airlines operated flights to and from Mexico, Costa Rica, Belize, Guatemala, and The Bahamas only. Discount code is valid for 50% off coach base fare levels published at alaskaair.com when two tickets are booked together. Valid for itineraries with a minimum and maximum of two people, traveling together and booked and ticketed at the same time in the same reservation and at the same fare; valid for one-way or round-trip travel. If the itinerary is canceled or changed, any refund or credit issued will be for the discounted price for each ticket. Fare basis code information can be found in the section entitled ""View Fare and Baggage Rule"" on the Itinerary and Price Summary page. Fare types that are ineligible for this discount may be lower than other fares with discount code applied. One discount allowed per reservation. Discount not valid on all fares, including but not limited to Atmos Rewards Award Reservations, Alaska Airlines Vacation packages, tour or contract fares, and many privately filed fares. Any Discount Code value remaining after purchase is forfeited.
Reservations & Ticketing: Valid for new ticket purchases only at alaskaair.com. Discount Code cannot be applied to tickets that have already been purchased and issued. Discount Code is relinquished at time of ticketing and void for future purchases. Credit card required for purchase.
Passengers: Minimum of two and maximum of two people per discount code, must be traveling together and booked and ticketed at the same time in the same reservation and at the same fare.
Routes: Discount is valid between any Alaska Airlines cities (excluding Prudhoe Bay) and Mexico, Costa Rica, Belize, Guatemala, and The Bahamas. Based on published fare routings and some cities may not be available. Not all flights operate on all days.
Day of Week Restrictions: Travel
to Mexico, Costa Rica, Belize, Guatemala, or The Bahamas is valid on flights departing Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays only. Travel
from Mexico, Costa Rica Guatemala, Belize, or The Bahamas is valid on flights departing on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursday, and Fridays only.
Advance Purchase: Per applicable fare rules.

Travel Valid From: January 8, 2024.

Flights: Valid only on flights operated by Alaska Airlines, and flights operated on behalf of Alaska Airlines by Horizon Air or SkyWest. Not valid on codeshare flights.
Taxes, Fees and Surcharges: Passenger is responsible for all applicable taxes, fees, and surcharges, including checked baggage fees.
Combinability: Not valid with any other discounts, including Discount Codes, coupons, discount programs, MyAccount online discount, or other arrangements.
Changes and Refunds: Changes and refunds may be allowed per the applicable fare rule. Refunds or cancellation of itinerary will result in the forfeiture of the discount code. Once the 'Purchase By' date has passed, any changes will result in the forfeiture of the discount. Once issued, tickets are not transferable.
Atmos Rewards: Atmos Rewards credit applies and upgrades are allowed.
Transferability: Discount Codes may not be sold, bought, bartered, auctioned or collected in bulk. Any deemed by Alaska to have been distributed or acquired improperly will not be honored and traveler will be responsible for payment of full fare.
Additional Terms: All rules of alaskaair.com and the applicable published fare not mentioned within these terms and conditions apply.
Other: Discount Codes have no cash value and are not valid for travel. Lost or stolen Discount Codes cannot be replaced. Alaska has the final authority regarding Discount Code redemption. Travel is subject to Alaska's contract of carriage. Terms and conditions as written herein are final and cannot be changed by any statement or representation of any unauthorized person, including employees of Alaska/Horizon or issuing organization. Other restrictions may apply and Alaska reserves the right to suspend or change this offer without notice.
